Someone once said in a book I once read
that life is rocks, re-arranging themselves
It seems pretty true
from a rock point of view
Light and gravity don’t always rule

Sometimes a dream or a wish will rise
A spider can jump
An airplane flies
Rocks in motion
Rocks in disguise
Everything mixes in time

Gophers move dirt up and down as a trade
messing with archaeologist’s layers
Volcanoes are bigger, out of our league
But still we move mountains
And still we grow trees

Everything ends. Entropy wins
But how will our threads
hold together in meantime

That all depends on the dreams that we follow
Dream of your neighborhood
Green rich tomorrows

Just presume that your dreams will come true
Give them some help,
like a mother with children
Nine times in ten it all works well
Hand on the steering wheel, eyes on love
