We’ve got our knee on the planet’s neck

Pull back, pull back, let her breathe

Water and air, all choked by meddling

Who do we think we are?

 

Make America green again

Plenty for all, with no more dustbowls

Live our lives so we don’t kill the world

Seems like an obvious choice  

 

Oil man says it’s not his fault

“I’m just pumping power”

Humans, they say, are much too small,

and never could change the weather

 

“It’s all too big” I’ve heard them say,

“and anyway, it was made for us”

No, my friend. We were made by the Earth

and we’ve got to be good to our mother
